Ben joined the Golden Harvest agronomy team in 2023 as an agronomist for southern Iowa. With more than 12 years of agronomic experience under his belt, Ben brings a deep understanding of the southern Iowa territory, as well as genetics, fertility and plant physiology to his customers.
Outside of work, Ben is very active in the Iowa Corn Growers Association where he is a member of the Usage and Production Committee and U.S. Grains Council Sustainability and Development. He is also a former member of the Iowa Corn Growers I-LEAD program.
Ben earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Coe College in addition to completing his master’s degree in business administration from Mount Mercy University. He currently lives in Urbandale, Iowa, where he resides with his wife and two children. In his free time, Ben enjoys coaching his son’s sports, spending time with family, golfing, spending time outdoors and cheering on the Hawkeyes.
