James joined Golden Harvest in 2008 and has served Seed Advisors and customers across south central and southwestern Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, farm and financial management with a minor in crop science.
When it comes to being a Golden Harvest agronomist, James’ favorite part of the job is helping farmers work towards achieving their goals while keeping the uniqueness of their individual operation top of mind. As James likes to say, “Everyone farms a little bit differently and with those differences can bring unique challenges and opportunities.”
James lives with his wife, Nicole, in southwestern Illinois in the town of Shiloh. In his free time, you can find James enjoying the outdoors, whether it be hiking, snow skiing or helping the family farm.
