Meet Agronomist - Steven Heightchew

Steven has dreamed of a life in agriculture since he was a child growing up in Owen County Kentucky. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Kentucky and has dedicated his career to servicing farmers in his community ever since.

Throughout his career, Steven has held roles in extension education, crop consulting, and most recently spent the last 15 years as an agronomist for a competitive seed brand. I look forward to watching Steven leverage his deep knowledge of Indiana agriculture to help the Golden Harvest brand, as well as the broader organization.

Steven resides near Salem, Indiana with his wife Elizabeth and their two children, Sarah (20) and Jacob (18). Outside of his professional career, Steven enjoys spends his time working on the family farm and traveling to new places.
