Meet Adam Noellsch - Agronomist

Raised on a corn, soybean, wheat and hog farm, Adam earned his bachelor’s in agronomy and master’s in soil fertility from the University of Missouri. Adam covers Golden Harvest agronomy for eastern Missouri and western Illinois farmers and is well-versed in drought-tolerant corn, pre-commercial product testing and precision ag.

When it comes to Golden Harvest, Adam embodies the Service 365 year-round commitment to doing whatever it takes to optimize yield results. Adam explains, “We use the E-Luminate® digital agronomy platform along with soil layer information and local plot data to begin our recommendation process. On top of all the ground data, I’ve also got 20 years’ worth of weather data available to me. I sit down with all that information, crunch the numbers and explain to farmers how a certain hybrid combined with a specific type of weather can have predictable results.”

For Adam, staying farmer focused is the key to charting success for the farmers he works with throughout the year. As he says, “We’ve implemented the Service 365 year-round commitment to doing whatever it takes to optimize yield results, which means that we’ll be on their farm all throughout the year. I take advantage of every minute I can to be on a farm. It’s my passion, and now I’m lucky enough to call it my job.”
